Friday I was able to get out for a bit to walk and catch Providence & Worcester train NR-2 in Ledyard. As things worked out I was able to catch NR-2 while the wind was non existent. And when the wind isn’t moving around the water, Mill Cove is like […]
Mill Cove
Got out again this morning for my walk/Providence & Worcester shooting. Not much different than yesterday – only a little more sun to work with. Too bad it wasn’t later on when the sparkling blue skies broke out around Connecticut. Oh, well, can’t win ’em all I guess.
Yesterday, despite the rain, I was able to get out to fit in a walk, and of course catch Providence & Worcester train NR-2 in Ledyard. At least this time of year some of the trees are in bloom. Too bad it was too early to celebrate Cinco de Mayo […]
Another nice blue sky day today, one I had to take advantage of. So I headed out for my walk this morning, hoping to catch Providence & Worcester train NR-2 in Ledyard. I did bag them, along with a couple things floating on the water – one with NR-2, and […]

Now that things are settling down after our recent loss, I’ve got a few things to catch up on here. Here’s the first one – from back on February 24th. Caught a couple trains, along with a northbound barge headed for Dow Chemical up in Gales Ferry.
I had to head into work early this morning for a 7am teleconference. Once that was done, I decided to take advantage of the hole in my schedule to try and find a little breakfast, as well as Providence & Worcester train NR-2. As luck had it, I found both.
