I was able to get out for a bit this morning to take advantage of the beautiful sunshine and blue skies that were gracing Connecticut. And as it turned out, I was able to catch Providence & Worcester train NR-2 passing by another cargo carrier.

OK, here’s post three of three – this one is from yesterday. And like Tuesday, it takes place at Stoddard Cove in Ledyard. This time, though, the timing wasn’t as nice – this time there was no room for error.
OK, two of three – this time it took place at Stoddard Cove in Ledyard, and the usual suspect of Providence & Worcester train NR-2. But because of the magic of technology, I was able to get two angles of the train at pretty much the same time – basically […]

Here’s one from January 29th. Caught a Los Angeles class fast attack submarine heading back to the US Sub Base in Groton on my way into work. Not sure of which boat it was, but it was a later 688 class boat (688I).
Going back in time a bit. Last Thursday my schedule prevented me from getting out at my usual time to shoot Providence & Worcester train NR-2 on their way south. But that was a good thing in a way.
