This past Monday morning I was able to get out for a nice walk under some beautiful blue skies. And as things worked out, Providence & Worcester train NR-2 and a loaded coal barge were in the mix as well. Everyone says Mondays suck, but with a Monday like this […]

Friday I was able to get out for a bit to walk and catch Providence & Worcester train NR-2 in Ledyard. As things worked out I was able to catch NR-2 while the wind was non existent. And when the wind isn’t moving around the water, Mill Cove is like […]
Got out again this morning for my walk/Providence & Worcester shooting. Not much different than yesterday – only a little more sun to work with. Too bad it wasn’t later on when the sparkling blue skies broke out around Connecticut. Oh, well, can’t win ’em all I guess.

A little play on words – it’s the Western Good Friday today, and I had a good Friday with the camera, bagging two trains and a Virginia class submarine returning to the Sub Base, all under crystal clear blue skies.
Taking advantage of the beautiful weather on Thursday I headed out for a walk. I figured for something different I’d head to Stoddard Hill and try and catch Providence & Worcester train NR-2 heading south. Well, for once I didn’t catch NR-2, but I did catch a couple other things…
I never planned on heading out today, but when I looked outside this morning and saw sunshine and some blue sky, I had to take advantage of it. As luck would have it, I caught a train and then a little bonus on the way back to the office. Then […]
