NECR at Night

I had to run a couple errands tonight in Willimantic, so on my way home, I swung by the New England Central base of operations here in southeastern Connecticut – South Windham.  Of course, while there, I took a few pictures of a NECR train waiting for a fresh crew on Monday.

After I finished up what I needed to do in Willimantic, I headed down Route 32 to hopefully get a couple night shots of NECR train NERWPA tied down in South Windham.  When I pulled down the driveway, I could see the train idling away to the south of the crossing.  So I grabbed my camera and Lumedyne gear, and headed trackside for a few shots in the snow.  Here’s the three shots I took:

Satisfied with what I got, I packed up and headed back home to enjoy a beer while processing the images, and writing this post.  If you’re curious, I’ve got a bottle of Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA in my hand.  Mmmmm, hoppy!

Thanks for looking!
Tom
