Cowboy Mounted Shooting – CT Renegades on the 4th of July, Part II

Here’s Part II of the Connecticut Renegades‘ 4th of July match in Granby, CT.  This post covers the second stage of the Independence Day match.

For the second stage, I set up at the same spot for the first stage – down at the end of the course, which for this stage had a different balloon pattern – more of a straightaway with balloons on both sides, where the riders had to shoot at alternating sides of the pathway.  Pretty much all the shots were done with the 70-200mm lens – I tried to concentrate on the riders and their expressions, and of course the 200mm end was handy for pulling in the opposite end of the course.
