I had to head into work early this morning for a 7am teleconference. Once that was done, I decided to take advantage of the hole in my schedule to try and find a little breakfast, as well as Providence & Worcester train NR-2. As luck had it, I found both.

I had to run a couple errands tonight in Willimantic, so on my way home, I swung by the New England Central base of operations here in southeastern Connecticut – South Windham. Of course, while there, I took a few pictures of a NECR train waiting for a fresh crew […]
Was able to get a two-fer in on Friday – one under daylight, and one under cover of darkness. I caught Providence & Worcester train NR-2 in the morning, then later that night, I shot the Central New England Railroad’s equipment in Scantic, CT, of course with the help of […]
Had to run out and do a couple errands in Willimantic tonight, so I threw the camera bag and Lumedyne bag in the car on the way out of the house. You never know what you’ll run into in Willimantic.

Happy New Year everyone. To start out the 2009 year, here’s a photo of P&W 2009 on NR-4 in Willimantic, CT from January 2008 [cpg_imagefix:5949] I hope everyone has a happy, safe & prosperous 2009. Thanks again for your continued support! Tom Nanos

This morning was another late start for me. Not only did I get up a touch late, but also the roads were covered with black ice, and some of them were closed. So I had to take a really scenic route into work this morning. And as I usually do, […]
This past Tuesday I was running a bit behind schedule, which afforded me the chance to catch Providence & Worcester train NR-2 heading south. Of course, only if the timing was right.
This past Saturday (12/13/08) Nick Palazini and I headed out for an evening of shooting under the stars with the Lumedyne. On the slate was hitting both Central New England Railroad branches, and if we had time, taking a swing by East Hartford to shoot the Connecticut Southern power by […]
