Well, while I eat my lunch, I figured I could bang out a post or two to try and get current on things. This one is from this past Wednesday the last day of September. I was able to catch Providence & Worcester train NR-2 at a couple spots, one […]

OK, getting late, and I’m getting a bit lazy. So I’m going to do like the cable company advertises, and bundle a couple posts together. This one is from September 24th and 29th of Providence & Worcester train NR-2 at, yep you guessed it, Mill Cove. Well, the 29th also […]
Catching up continues. Here’s a bit from September 21st. Simple one this time – caught Providence & Worcester train NR-2 at Mill Cove and just south of the USS Nautilus in Groton. Yep, pretty run of the mill stuff – only “exciting” thing is NR2 was throwing a little smoke…

OK, now for Part II of my Tuesday adventures – Wings of Freedom. I had heard about the Wings of Freedom tour stopping at the Groton/New London airport on the news this morning, so I figured it would be worth a stop at lunchtime. Well, I did stop, but not […]
Talk about a quickie this morning. In a span of about 20 minutes I was able to get out of the office, drive up to Mill Cove and shoot Providence & Worcester train NR-2 this morning. Yep, it was fast, but, hey, there were blue skies! And the weather geeks […]
Monday we had some really nice blue skies, and I had a little hole in my schedule, so I took advantage of the two and caught Providence & Worcester train NR-2. As things worked out, I was able to catch them at two spots along the Thames.
OK, now that I’ve actually seen them with my own two eyes, I can brag a bit. This month you can see some of my work in two nationally distributed railroading magazines.
