Just a teaser tonight – more tomorrow night. I did get out for my walk today, and did catch Providence & Worcester train NR-2 in Ledyard and across the Thames River drawbridge. But most of the shots I took were on my Graflex Pacemaker 23 Speed Graphic – click here […]

I got a chance to develop the roll of film I shot with my ancient Zeiss-Ikon Nettar 515/2 folding 6cm x 9cm camera last Friday. Here’s a couple scans from that roll. Pretty sweet camera, especially considering it’s somewhere around 60 years old!
Well, the weather guys got it a bit wrong…again. They were saying it would clear up overnight and we’d have a great day today. Bzzzzzt!! It started out hazy, foggy & humid and ended up about the same. Oh, well, I still got out for my walk this morning. And […]
Well, I did manage to process the one exposed roll of 35mm Ilford Delta 100 I had laying around for about a year last night. Tonight I got around to scanning a few frames.
Well, another nice morning, but another apparently early start for Providence & Worcester train NR-2. I headed out a touch later than normal, and as I was just leaving the area of work, something odd on the scanner caught my attention. What I saw across the river confirmed my suspicions.
I finally got through all 1500+ images I took at the Lebanon Fair this past weekend. Yep, that’s not a typo – I took over one thousand five hundred photos over 3 days of the fair! The weather was beautiful on Saturday & Sunday, and Friday was a little rainy, […]
Well, I finally got to it – I developed 2 rolls of black & white film tonight – one roll of 35mm and one roll of 120, shot in 6cm x 9cm format. They came out pretty good, especially the 6x9s considering the shots were taken on a camera that […]
Another very nice day today – a touch more humidity in the air, but still a pretty darned nice morning. I figured I’d head out at the normal time and head for Erickson Park in Ledyard for my walk. Well, that wouldn’t be in the cards today – it seems […]
What a glorious day it was today – crystal clear blue skies, next to no humidity, and a gentle breeze. Of course I headed out for my walk as usual today, but of course things wouldn’t go as planned.
Well, I had to head into Willimantic right after work today, so I took Route 32 north instead of my usual route up 87 towards home. Since 32 parallels the New England Central Railroad’s mainline the entire way through Connecticut, I had my scanner on hoping to run into NECR […]
