Once again playing catchup with the posts – at least I’m only a couple weeks behind… In this one I’m going to roll three days into one post – they’re not consecutive days, but rather are geographically connected. And, yes, I’ll be brief on the words…
We’re talking about September 20, 22 and 29 for the three days. The 20th was shot under nice blue skies at Stoddard Cove and Mill Cove in Ledyard, CT of Providence & Worcester train NR-2 (as well as a hyrail PW dump truck). The 22nd was a quick stop at Shaw’s Cove after work to try and get a New Haven painted GP40 on a Shore Line East train (which was unsuccessful). And finally the 29th was a quick stop over lunch with a couple grab shots – one of an eastbound Acela, and the other of a small freighter in New London. I did also shoot on the 25th, but that’ll come in a post of its own…
