OK folks, the latest edition of Trackside with TRAINS.com is up on their site, and the subject this time around is something near and dear to my heart – NIGHT! I submitted a shot from the CT Eastern RR Museum I took 4 years ago, and is probably my favorite […]
Willimantic
On Sunday the 17th I had to run down to Stop-N-Shop for some last minute supplies for dinner. Heading out there things were quiet in Willimantic – traffic waiting for the PW to pick up, and no activity in the NECR yard. The trip back home, however, things were a […]
On the 6th of October I got some information from a friend “in the know” about a couple nighttime ethanol moves on the New England Central around Willimantic, CT. So after my wife & I put the kids to bed, I headed out to see what I could shoot. With […]

August 27th – a Friday – graced us with some beautiful weather – and a half day at work for me. That ended up translating into two trains and a submarine that crossed in front of my lens. The odd thing was the power used on one of the trains […]
Continuing on the backlog here – but instead of what I would normally do and make one post for each “outing,” instead I’m putting together one massive post with a week’s full of shots in it. Basically taking care of pretty much the entire backlog in one fell swoop. In […]
Oh how easy it is to fall behind on things. Like usual, I’m a bit behind on my postings here, so here’s one from a week and a half ago – July 5th. I had Monday off since it was a company holiday, so I took a little time in […]
