On Sunday the 17th I had to run down to Stop-N-Shop for some last minute supplies for dinner. Heading out there things were quiet in Willimantic – traffic waiting for the PW to pick up, and no activity in the NECR yard. The trip back home, however, things were a bit different.
On the way back home, I did my usual look up and down the tracks at the Bridge Street crossing. But instead of seeing what I saw earlier, I saw a Providence & Worcester unit down on the interchange track alongside the CERM driveway. So I pulled in to snap a few pictures. Hey, I had a few minutes, and didn’t have any perishables with me (just a couple loaves of French bread, and some other small things). So I pulled in and grabbed a few shots of NR4X shuffling cars around – one of which being a single well car with a container in it.
