Well, they just keep coming in. I guess that’s a good thing. I was asked to fill in another slideshow, this time for the Connecticut Eastern Railroad Museum‘s April members meeting. This will be on Sunday April 15th at 7pm and will be in the meeting rooms at Windham Memorial Hospital in Willimantic, CT. Not sure what subject I’ll be presenting yet – I guess I’ve got to decide since it’s coming up soon.
Here’s an overview of the slideshows I’ve got coming up:
- Sunday April 15, 2007 @ 7PM – Connecticut Eastern Railroad Museum‘s April member meeting at Windham Memorial Hospital, Willimantic, CT. Subject TBA, but will probably be a series of multimedia shows (slides set to music and minimal, or no, yapping from me). One I’m thinking about is around RJ Corman’s cleanup of the Mansfield, CT NECR derailment. We’ll see what else I come up with.
- Thursday April 19, 2007 @ 7PM – Quinebaug Valley Photography Club meeting at the Dempsey Center in Putnam, CT. Subject: Railroad Photography – it’s not just sunny day trains. This will be a combination of a traditional talkie format slideshow, along with a small multimedia segment.
- Friday/Saturday June 1/2, 2007 – New England/Northeast Prototype Modeler’s Meet at the Canton Community Center, 40 Dyer Ave, Collinsville, CT. I haven’t received my time slot yet – I’ll update once I confirm it. Subject will be Current Day Nutmeg State GEs – An overview of contemporary freight and passenger trains operated by General Electric locomotives around Connecticut. This will be more of a talkie type slideshow. I may narrow the focus of this show a bit, but it will still deal with GE locomotives in Connecticut.
And as always, I usually do a little bonus show with each presentation. You’ll have to come to the slideshow to find out what it is… 🙂
