NR-2, an Acela and the Saga Voyager

Yet again, I’m a bit behind in the postings.  This one goes back to December 5th where I got out to catch Providence & Worcester train NR-2 between the USS Nautilus in Groton, and Shaw’s Cove in New London.  Also along the way, an Acela came into the picture, along with the cargo ship, Saga Voyager, unloading it’s cargo on the State Pier in New London.

I’ll keep things brief.  The sun was out on the 5th, so I took advantage of it, and a hole in my schedule, to shoot NR-2.  But getting out a bit later only allowed me to shoot them at the USS Nautilus overlook park in Groton.  From there, the usual spots were hit – south of the Thames River drawbridge, and across the river from Shaw’s Cove.  And as I mentioned above, the Saga Voyager was at the State Pier, and an Acela crossed over the Thames.  So without further adieu, here’s the stuff!
