I had to run a couple errands tonight in Willimantic, so on my way home, I swung by the New England Central base of operations here in southeastern Connecticut – South Windham. Of course, while there, I took a few pictures of a NECR train waiting for a fresh crew on Monday.
After I finished up what I needed to do in Willimantic, I headed down Route 32 to hopefully get a couple night shots of NECR train NERWPA tied down in South Windham. When I pulled down the driveway, I could see the train idling away to the south of the crossing. So I grabbed my camera and Lumedyne gear, and headed trackside for a few shots in the snow. Here’s the three shots I took:

Thanks for looking!

Tom, … I admire your work and look forward to your daily blog.
Don’t know how you maintain the energy level, but your fans
appreciate it. Happy new year.
Thanks guys!
Ray – one word – caffeine! Heh…seriously, I just try to find time to shoot in between work & family stuff. And now with the Lumedyne, I’m really not limited to the daytime hours, so I can head out after everyone is in bed for a bit of shooting under the stars.
