No, please don’t! I broke out my telescope tonight for a quick shot of the waxing gibbous moon. The telescope is a 20 year old Celestron Super C8+ 8″ Schmidtt-Cassegrain telescope (2,000mm focal length, f/10, 8″ aperture). I slapped the 20D on the back and got this shot of the moon.

Once I get a counterweight set for it, and not feel so lazy and actually polar align it when I get outside, watch for some astrophotos from the C8+/20D combo.
Thanks for looking!
Tom

WOW!!!!!
Thanks Dave! Yeah, I said the same thing once I got the focus right. Only took an hour out in the cold to get it dialed in…. But now I know the method, so it should be easier next time…
