Flowers, rabbits & kids

Well, not much on the railroading front lately. Been kinda busy at work and at home, but I did manage to get a bit of shooting in this weekend.

We got hit with a thunderstorm on Friday, so I headed outside with the camera after it passed. Got a nice shot of one of my wife’s peonys with water still clinging to the petals

Then of course, as the sun came out, my daughters wanted to come out & run around. Here’s a shot of them in some of the waning sunlight

Then on Saturday I was roto-tilling the garden (after fixing the roto-tiller), and I noticed something in front of me. It was a baby rabbit that got out of it’s home. So my wife put it back with its sibling, and I grabbed a couple shots of it. They were quite young – their eyes weren’t even open yet.

And for good measure, I grabbed a shot of the Siberian Irises by our back door.

That’s it so far. I’m finally working on the pictures from the Lebanon and Manchester Memorial Day parades. Hope to have something posted later tonight. I’m off to the CT Eastern Railroad Museum now to finalize the shots for th 4th Annual Night Photo Shoot next Saturday.

Thanks!
Tom
