Back on the 12th of September we met up with my parents, my sister and her family at the Coventry Farmer’s Market, which is held down on the Nathan Hale Homestead in Coventry, CT. When we left the house, we were expecting a typical farmer’s market (like the one here in Lebanon). When we got there, we were greeted by more of a country fair than a farmer’s market. Nothing wrong with that, though…
While we were there, we sampled some of the vendors, ran into some friends, made a scarecrow, as well as enjoyed some East African music by the band Echo Uganda. I even got a chance to photograph my sister in action (she’s a wedding photographer, as well as a supporter of the market, and was doing portraits at the market), and watch – as well as photograph – something called vibrational sound massage (also called gong meditation – put on by this company). Oh, yeah, and the girls got to take a couple hula-hoops for a whirl (literally). All in all, it was a pretty good visit.

Hi, I’m a member of Echo Uganda and was wondering if we could use these photos for our website. They are great!
WOOT WOOT! Thanks for the action photos! The Coventry Regional Farmers Market is an addiction – you can’t stop going because there is always more and more to see, visit, and buy!!
