On the way home from the airport, something caught my eye in Waterford – some work going on at the trestle over the inlet to Smith Cove. So I stopped and grabbed a couple shots despite the crappy weather.
Not sure exactly what was going on, but it looked like they were working on some of the pilings on the trestle over the inlet to Smith Cove across from the US Sub Base in Groton. Here’s a few shots of the work going on.

Yeah, they’re not the greatest, but I only had my G9 with me. Plus the crappy weather didn’t help…
