Amherst Railway Society Slideshow

Just a quick note of an upcoming slideshow I’m putting on.  I’ll be presenting a show entitled “Steel Wheels and Submarines – Railroading along the Thames River” at the Amherst Railway Society’s October 2010 meeting.  As you can infer from the title, I’ll be doing a virtual guided tour of the railroads along the Thames River in southeastern Connecticut.  The roads that will be covered are NECR, PW, Amtrak & Shore Line East, and the show will include a number of never before seen photos.  Click here for the meeting announcement on the Amherst Railway Society site, along with location specifics & directions.  If I’m not mistaken, their meetings are open to the public – so if you’d like to check out the show, head on down!
