30th Annual Connecticut Military Vehicle Collector’s show

I saw a sign along the road about a Military Vehicle show & swap meet the weekend Father’s Day. Well, I had a few extra hours on Saturday morning, so I headed over to the Hebron Fairgrounds to check things out. It was an event organized by the Connecticut Military Vehicle Collectors, and there was quite the variety of equipment there – ranging from WW-II to present day.

I spent a couple hours there checking things out Saturday morning – vehicles were still streaming in when I left, but there was quite a bit to see even at the early hours. It was mostly US equipment, but there was some vintage Canadaian equipment as well. A quite impressive show of very nicely restored historical military equipment – from Jeeps, to halftracks, to motorcycles – even a “duck” showed up. And 3 of the 4 branches were represented there – Army, Marines and the Navy (there was one USN motorcycle), but I don’t recall seeing any Air Force vehicles. There was one Civil Defence van, though. OK, enough blabbing about it – here’s the pictures. Enjoy!
