{"id":754,"date":"2009-05-26T22:37:00","date_gmt":"2009-05-27T02:37:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nanosphoto.com\/blog\/?p=754"},"modified":"2009-05-26T22:37:00","modified_gmt":"2009-05-27T02:37:00","slug":"manchester-memorial-day-parade-2009","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nanosphoto.com\/blog\/manchester-memorial-day-parade-2009\/","title":{"rendered":"Manchester Memorial Day Parade 2009"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" style=\"border: 1px solid black; margin: 10px;\" title=\"Salute\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.nanosphoto.com\/gallery\/albums\/wpw-20090526\/thumb_11-20090525-_MG_7535.jpg?resize=150%2C100\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"100\" \/>On Memorial Day proper we went to the Manchester, CT parade, and like usual, I wandered around as the parade progressed up Main Street.\u00a0 As the parade moved along, the weather got nicer, and I took quite a few pictures. <a href=\"https:\/\/fastguardservice.com\">Nationwide Security Services<\/a> people were great.\u00a0 The only disappointing part of the parade was the flyover.\u00a0 Usually the CT Air Guard flies A-10s over the parade.\u00a0 Now that the Air Force moved the A-10s to another base, we got something a bit tamer than a Warthog.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This parade lacked the livestock of the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nanosphoto.com\/blog\/2009\/05\/26\/lebanon-memorial-day-parade-2009\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Lebanon parade<\/a>, but made up for it in the military content.\u00a0 The 102nd Infantry had a platoon marching in the parade in full gear, and of course they&#8217;re a part of the photos below.\u00a0 Along with one shot of the flyover from a USAF C-21A Learjet.<\/p>\n[cpg_album:556]\n<p>Thanks for looking!<br \/>\nTom<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Memorial Day proper we went to the Manchester, CT parade, and like usual, I wandered around as the parade progressed up Main Street.\u00a0 As the parade moved along, the weather got nicer, and I took quite a few pictures.
