As some of you may know, a trio of New York, Susquehanna and Western SD70Ms that are being leased by RailAmerica were sent from the Florida East Coast Railway to the New England Central for some repairs.\u00a0 Well, as luck had it, CSX spotted the three on the east end of the West Springfield yard for the local to pick up.\u00a0 So on a whim, I took a ride up to south-central Massachusetts to photograph the trio.<\/p>\n

Keeping this one short because there’s not much to add.\u00a0 Here’s a few shots from the 90 or so minutes I spent shooting the three EMDs.\u00a0 There’s more than these, but they’re being kept under wraps for their debut at my slide show on railroads at night taking place on May 30, 2009.\u00a0 That’s going to be a part of the New England\/Northeast Prototype Modeler’s Meet<\/a> in Collinsville, CT.\u00a0 I’ll have more details on that soon.\u00a0 Anyways, here’s 4 shots of the Susy-Q units in West Springfield.\u00a0 Well, actually only 3 shots – one is of a CSX job working the yard…\u00a0 I’m sure you won’t mind…<\/p>\n[cpg_album:539]\n Thanks for looking!
