Well, I got lucky last week.\u00a0 I decided to poke around eBay for some photo gear I’ve been looking for, and came across one auction that was pretty much everything I needed.\u00a0 When all was said and done, I ended up winning the auction.\u00a0 And today FedEx delivered the box from Wisconsin.\u00a0 At nearly the same time, UPS delivered a box from B&H Photo with the one part missing from the stuff I got from eBay.\u00a0 So tonight, I headed out to the NECR’s Willimantic yard to shoot a photo of one lonely car sitting in the yard.\u00a0 Yep, I said night and photo…<\/p>\n

If you haven’t guessed yet, I came across a great deal on a Lumedyne setup – large battery, charger, 200WS fast pack and head (less than $400 shipped to me!).\u00a0 Only thing missing was the flash tube, which is what came from B&H.\u00a0 Sure, it’s small at 200WS, but it did quite well.\u00a0 And with the Lumedynes, I can get a booster pack, which will add 400WS to the mix, giving me a total of 600WS!\u00a0 That’ll come in time…but for now, I’ve got my own little night shooting setup…\u00a0 So here’s the first shot with the kit.<\/p>\n[cpg_imagefixthumb:7950]\n
