Well, the week is on the calendar.\u00a0 I’ve only got 3 times I went out shooting in that timeframe – September 11th, 16th and 19th. So, in the usual “I’m catching up” fashion, we’ll keep things short, and cut right to the chase.<\/p>\n
September 11, 2008<\/strong><\/p>\n On my way to my daughters’ gymnastics practice, I noticed something odd in the NECR\/P&W yard in Willimantic – a couple of blue hoppers.\u00a0 Upon checking into them, it turns out there’s a pair of P&W MoW ballast hoppers in the yard, so I got a couple shots before heading to the gym.<\/p>\n[cpg_album:452]\n September 16, 2008<\/strong><\/p>\n One of those oh-so-rare holes in my schedule opened up, and I was able to catch P&W train NR-2 at Mill Cove, and then later crossing Shaw’s Cove in New London.\u00a0 Oh, yeah, and the timing worked out pretty well at Mill Cove – caught NR-2 with a tug heading north in the river.<\/p>\n[cpg_album:453]\n September 19, 2008<\/strong><\/p>\n Another hole in the schedule let me get NR-2 at Mill Cove again – this time no tug, but they scared a few birds off of the tracks – then crossing the Thames River.<\/p>\n[cpg_album:454]\n And that’s it.\u00a0 Thanks for looking!
