So of course, I had to duck out to get a couple shots while the snow was still on the trees.  I decided to head to my normal haunt of Mill Cove in Ledyard, CT to catch P&amp;W train NR-2 heading south.<!--more-->  A bit after I got there, the scanner woke up and I heard that NR-2 was south of Norwich and about 15 minutes out of the sub base.  About 12 minutes later, I heard the horns in the distance as NR-2 approached Red Top just north of my position.  Here the train is beginning to round the bend just south of Red Top:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">[cpg_imagefixthumb:2557]\n<p>Then they make their way onto the causeway between Mill Cove and the Thames River, all the while blowing some of the freshly fallen snow:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">[cpg_imagefixthumb:2556]\n<p>And a couple seconds later, the train crosses over the inlet at the south end of the cove:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">[cpg_imagefixthumb:2555] [cpg_imagefixthumb:2554]\n<p>That&#8217;s it for today.
