Phew! What a busy couple weeks I’ve had. Finally getting a chance to catch up a bit here – and boy do I have some stuff to catch up on. We’ll go back a couple weeks here to start out with, and eventually move up to this week. As an addition to my previous post<\/a> about shooting at the Railroad Museum of New England<\/a> out in Thomaston, CT, I scanned a few more of the black & white negatives I took with my Rolleiflex 6×6 TLR. Without further adieu, here they are!<\/p>\n

First up is a shot that caught my eye early in the day. It’s a look at one of the doors on the Thomaston Station that has the faded word “Baggage” embedded in the wood from an old sign that once hung on it. To me, it was screaming to me “shoot me on film!”<\/p>\n

Next up is former New Haven FL-9 #2019, which was sitting outside of the new shops.<\/p>\n

And also outside the shops was RMNE’s GE 45 tonner<\/p>\n

But finally, my favorite shot of the bunch. I got this one on the way from Thomaston Station to the shops, while looking over the conductor’s shoulder.<\/p>\n

Not exactly your run-of-the-mill railroad shot…which is why I like it!<\/p>\n
