Well, I’m down here in New Jersey for work this week. Of course, my camera bag came along for the ride. Since today was a travel day, I did a bit of scouting around…well, with an agenda in mind. Nearby where I’m staying, there’s a GG-1 undergoing restoration. So that was my primary mission for the evening. And as you can see in the picture to the left, I found it…<\/p>\n

Once I checked into the hotel, I unpacked a bit and tried to unwind a bit from the 3.5 hour ride. After calling home & saying goodnight to the girls, I grabbed the camera bag and headed out the door to look for the ex-PRR electric somewhere west of where I’m staying.<\/p>\n
Well, needless to say, I found it – it’s sitting just west of the Lebanon, NJ New Jersey Transit station. With it being just after sunset, I grabbed the tripod, and threw the wide angle lens on the camera.<\/p>\n
First up was a couple shots of the Lebanon station building under the lights<\/p>\n

Then across the road for a shot of what I came for – the GG-1 – under the faint moon light<\/p>\n

Maybe I can get over there in daylight to get a couple shots, perhaps with a NJT train rolling on by. We’ll see – it’s only the first day. I’ll be back here while I’m down this way…<\/p>\n
