Yep, for the second installment at the look back at 2012’s photos I decided to pick 9 photos instead of the usual 6. \u00a0My picks for this three month period include the Connecticut Southern Railroad’s new Hartford Shops grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony, the new Niantic River drawbridge\u00a0along with the good old Shaw’s Cove swing bridge, both on Amtrak’s Shore Line, a little different look at a train leaving Conrail’s Manville NJ yard, a US Navy submarine returning to the sub base in Groton, a detail shot of a Valley Railroad fireman doing part of his job, and the one event that led to the increase in photos – the Lerro Productions photo charter on the Valley Railroad. \u00a0For that event, I picked out three of my favorites from the two day photo-fiesta. \u00a0If you’d like to check out all my photos from the charter, hit up these three links: \u00a0Part 1<\/a>, Part 2<\/a> and Part 3<\/a>.<\/p>\n
