\"\"<\/a>In the spirit of the holiday season, I’ve decided to do something a bit different. \u00a0I’ve put together a poster featuring one of my night shots of the Valley Railroad’s newest addition to their roster – former Knox & Kane Chinese built SY 2-8-2, now dressed up to look like a New Haven J-1, and known as Valley Railroad No. 3025 (class J-1a). \u00a0The photo was taken on 3025’s first day of revenue service, November 25, 2011, at old Deep River Road in Essex, CT as they pulled one of the evening’s North Pole Express trains.<\/p>\n

The print measures 19″ wide by 13″ tall and is printed on archival matte paper, and I will be hand-signing each print. \u00a0The price is $50 plus USPS Priority Mail shipping – the print will be shipped flat<\/em> in a hard envelope, not rolled up. \u00a0But that’s not all<\/em> – for each print sale, I’ll be donating 20% of the print price\u00a0to the Friends of the Valley Railroad<\/strong>\u00a0(their site is here<\/a>)for them to use to any restoration project they see fit. \u00a0So not only are you getting a print of the Valley Railroad’s newest\u00a0locomotive\u00a0in action, but you’re also helping out a great cause!<\/p>\n
