\"\"On Saturday November 6th we decided to take a ride to nowhere – no plans, no objective, just the four of us and a full tank of gas. \u00a0We figured we’d head northwest – the weather was supposed to be nicer out that way. \u00a0But even if it wasn’t we’d be out for a nice ride. \u00a0Even figured that we could bring the dog along for the ride – would be a nice change of scenery for her.<\/p>\n

We set our sights initially for Canaan, CT, where we’d then head north on Route 8 towards Stockbridge, then heading towards Lee where we’d pick up Route 2o to take in the Jacob’s Ladder Byway back east. \u00a0Even if we didn’t do anything, we’d have a nice ride. \u00a0Well, when we got to Canaan we checked out the Housatonic Railroad’s shops, where a few of their GP35s were idling away. \u00a0After a few shots there, we headed up Route 8, then over Route 20 in Lee. \u00a0While on 20, we were looking for a place to walk around, when it dawned on us that we’d be going through Chester. \u00a0And in Chester was the Keystone Arch Bridges trail. \u00a0So we took a little walk on the trail (about 2 miles round trip), and headed home as it was getting dark. \u00a0Everyone had a great time, including the dog!<\/p>\n[cpg_album:804]\n
