\"\"Back on the 12th of September we met up with my parents, my sister and her family at the Coventry Farmer’s Market<\/a>, which is held down on the Nathan Hale Homestead in Coventry, CT. \u00a0When we left the house, we were expecting a typical farmer’s market (like the one here in Lebanon<\/a>). \u00a0When we got there, we were greeted by more of a country fair than a farmer’s market. \u00a0Nothing wrong with that, though…<\/p>\n

While we were there, we sampled some of the vendors, ran into some friends, made a scarecrow, as well as enjoyed some East African music by the band Echo Uganda<\/a>. \u00a0I even got a chance to photograph my sister in action (she’s a wedding photographer<\/a>, as well as a supporter of the market, and was doing portraits at the market), and watch – as well as photograph – something called vibrational sound massage (also called gong meditation – put on by this company<\/a>). \u00a0Oh, yeah, and the girls got to take a couple hula-hoops for a whirl (literally). \u00a0All in all, it was a pretty good visit.<\/p>\n[cpg_album:776]\n
