So I had to leave work a bit early. \u00a0As luck had it, Providence &amp; Worcester train NR-2 was leaving Tilcon in Groton as I was leaving the parking lot, getting ready to head home. \u00a0I figured it was worth a shot to try and catch them on the way to the dentist.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Short story is that I got ahead of NR-2 enough to shoot them heading north along the Thames River at Stoddard Hill in Ledyard. \u00a0The one different thing was that I used a new &#8220;perch&#8221; to shoot them as they headed upstream. \u00a0The angle is decent &#8211; the only problem is there&#8217;s a ton of brush along the tracks that got in the way, but I managed to work around them. \u00a0Here&#8217;s the results:<\/p>\n[cpg_album:730]\n<p>After they were out of sight to the north, I made the hike back to the car, and made it to the dentists with about 10 minutes to spare.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for looking!<br \/>\nTom<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Friday I had\u00a0a dental appointment.
