My guess is it happened either on Friday or Saturday.  Either way, there&#8217;s not much left of them.  I just wish I caught them being scrapped &#8211; that would have made a pretty neat photo essay.  Oh, well, you can&#8217;t win &#8217;em all.  But they did leave a few things scattered about for me to photograph.  How nice of them. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a few shots of the remains of the two hoppers that sat in Willimantic for a good 6 months. A couple panels, some springs and a lone drawbar sticking out of the ground, like it&#8217;s reaching for the sky.
