Continuing to catch up here – this one is from last Wednesday morning, which was pretty windy & cold. I met up with Nick Palazini and David Telesha to shoot Providence & Worcester train NR-2 along the Thames River.
Nick & David called me when NR-2 left Plainfield, and we decided to meet up at Mill Cove in Ledyard. They also mentioned that NR-2 was huge – two cars, one of which would be spotted at Spicer in Groton. Hey, it was still something to shoot, so I headed out at the right time to meet up with the pair in Ledyard.
After a short wait there, NR-2 came into the picture and we bagged them there. After that we headed over to Shaw’s Cove in New London to get the train – now only consisting of one hopper car – crossing the swing bridge. That’s pretty much it, not much else out of the ordinary that morning.
