Last weekend – July 26th to be precise – was the magazine Railroads Illustrated’s Day In North America feature. This is when the magazine picks one day and tells photographers to go out and shoot on that day. They then publish one issue with basically a cross-section of railroading on […]

Well, as usual, I got out for my walk this morning and headed for the close-by Erickson Park in Ledyard. Unlike yesterday, I was able to catch Providence & Worcester train NR-2 heading south as I wrapped up my walk. The timing worked out so that I was able to […]
[cpg_imagefixthumb:3218] Running a bit behind, here’s a quick update for yesterday (5/30/07). No train pictures were had on my walk, but I did get one shot of the tugboat David heading north in a very calm Thames River. Aparently P&W NR-2 was running quite late, so I didn’t have time […]

Well, due to other commitments, I couldn’t make it out for my normal AM walk today. So I figured some stairs may be in order instead, so I opted to eat my lunch on the road, and head to the Old Saybrook Amtrak station for lunch. I was hoping to […]
Well, today things were different – nothing fell into place. Usually my timing is pretty good trying to tie my walk and Providence & Worcester train NR-2 together. No such luck today, though. But I did get a little walk in, and also caught a pair of Amtrak regionals crossing […]
