I’m sure you’re asking yourselves “What on earth is he talking about now?” Well, read on and you’ll get your answer. I headed to Erickson Park in Ledyard, CT again for my walk this morning, and did end up bagging NR-2 rolling southbound on this rather warm Friday morning before […]
Ledyard
Another day of gorgeous weather down on the Connecticut shore – perfect for my daily walk. Today, I went for Erickson Park in Ledyard again, of course with the aim of shooting Providence & Worcester train NR-2 along the walk.
Today is graduation day at the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT, so the place has been hopping. From increased security around President Bush’s visit to the commenecement ceremonies, to quite a few more boats in the Thames River just above the Gold Star Bridge. Of course, […]

Fog is a part of being on the shore, especially in the morning hours before the sun has a chance to burn it off. With the recent warmer weather, there was some fairly dense fog at the southern end of the Thames River this morning. I figured I might be […]
Well, this morning was a pretty stark contrast to yesterday’s blue skies and warm temperatures – a rather chilly start to the day, on and off showers, and a misty drizzle hanging in the air. But that didn’t keep me from my walk! With the weather the way it was, […]
