Well, the week is on the calendar. I’ve only got 3 times I went out shooting in that timeframe – September 11th, 16th and 19th. Anyways, two are of Providence & Worcester train NR-2, and the third was of a couple cars in Willimantic.

Today was my 39th birthday. So to celebrate, I took the day off from work. For the first part of the day I chased Providence & Worcester train NR-2 from Lisbon to Groton, CT. Then I went home for a while. Then I decided to head out again, this time […]
This past Monday I had another small hole open up in my morning schedule. So like usual when that happens, I headed out to catch Providence & Worcester train NR-2. The question would be this – since I had only a small window of time to work with, will the […]
Got a couple posts to catch up on from last week. First up is from last Thursday of Providence & Worcester train NR-2 coming south through Ledyard & Groton. Also, got a couple shots of a passing ship.

Another day of gorgeous weather down on the Connecticut shore – perfect for my daily walk. Today, I went for Erickson Park in Ledyard again, of course with the aim of shooting Providence & Worcester train NR-2 along the walk.
Today is graduation day at the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT, so the place has been hopping. From increased security around President Bush’s visit to the commenecement ceremonies, to quite a few more boats in the Thames River just above the Gold Star Bridge. Of course, […]
Didn’t have much time for a walk today, because I had to head over to New London to ship out the Sigma 2x teleconverter I’m returning (not happy with the performance of it with my shooting style – see this post for more info). But I did end up catching […]
