Yep, been a little more than a week since my last post. So to keep things somewhat fresh, here’s one shot for you all to chew on. It’s a shot of Providence & Worcester train MFS-9 (an extra from Worcester, MA to Groton, CT that Nick Palazini and I chased this past Monday 1/19/09). I’ve got some other images to post, but might not get to it for a few days. So here’s this one for now.
[cpg_imagefixthumb:8437]Stay tuned for more stuff, including a somewhat rare run of P&W train NR-3 south of Dow Chemical, probably early next week.
Thanks for looking!
Tom

As always, a great shot!

Wow, that looks like a snow pummeling in the making! Hope you ran fast enough! Great shot in that it adds a motion factor to the image without blurring the train.
Thanks guys!
Mike – nope, no snow cover! That’s what they make telephoto lenses for…stay out of the way! 🙂
Hmmm…I seeem to remember your telephoto lens getting covered in snow later on that day in Central Village, Tom. haha.
Yeah, Nick, you’re right…but remember that wasn’t because of a passing train, but rather my, um, graceful climbing…
And it was both the lens and camera that was caked with snow!
Oh believe me, I didn’t forget…only wish I had the video camera with me Monday…haha.
