OK, now that I’ve actually seen them with my own two eyes, I can brag a bit. This month you can see some of my work in two nationally distributed railroading magazines.
First off, I’ve got a feature article in the September 2009 issue of Railroads Illustrated. It’s centered around a cab ride I took with the Valley Railroad in Essex a couple years back. It came out pretty nice (it looks like WRP got their printing glitches worked out), and spans 8 pages, and is illustrated by 11 photos. I’m very happy with the way it turned out.
The other is only one photograph, but has a couple nice features to it. First, it’s in the October 2009 issue of TRAINS magazine. And second, it’s on the back cover! It’s a shot I took about 4 years ago while riding with the crew of Connecticut Southern Railroad train CSO-1 in West Springfield, MA, and it came out pretty sweet.
A very gratifying feeling seeing your work in print.
And the checks they sent don’t hurt either… 😀
