P&W train NR-2 and a new angle at Mill Cove in Ledyard, CT

Well, this morning was rather sunny, so I headed out for a quick rendezvous with Providence & Worcester train NR-2 in Ledyard. I tried to get a bit of a different view of the cove from the south this time around. What I found was a bit of a higher vantage point for the shots of the train clearing Red Top just at the north end of the causeway along Mill Cove. This gave a little more seperation between the train and the weeds around the tracks as they hit the curve.

And a little more water between the train and the Harvard Boat House:

But with the calm wind today, a shot at the inlet was a must. So as the train passed, I got off of my perch, and headed to a regular spot to get a nice shot of the trailing power and a vivid reflection in the water:

That was enough for today – it was time to head back to work – gotta pay the bills… 🙂

Thanks for looking & enjoy!
