One Night in Lansdale

"Nighttime in Lansdale"Last week I was in New Jersey for work, and one day I had to head down to the Collegeville, PA office.  Not having much time for shooting on this trip, I figured the trip back from the Keystone State provided an opportunity to get a little shooting in – even if it was only for a few minutes.  And with no flashes along for the ride this time, it had to be somewhere that had ample ambient light to work with.  That location was Lansdale, PA.

Not far off of my route between the office in Collegeville and the hotel in Bridgewater, NJ is Lansdale, where the final stop on the SEPTA line is, and the Pennsylvania Northeastern handles freight west of the station.  With the sun going down earlier this time of year, it made sense to stop off and shoot a bit during my trip back to the hotel – I figured shooting was a better way to spend time instead of sitting in traffic.

All in all I didn’t spend much time there, but I got a trio of decent shots of the Penn Northeastern power sitting idle under the yard lights for the night.

After the brief stop there, it was back into the car and up to the hotel for the evening.
