Memorial Day – more than just a day off from work. A day to remember those who sacraficed for the rest of us to enjoy life, liberty and the persuit of happiness. We went to the Lebanon, CT parade on Saturday morning, and if all goes well, we’ll be going to the Mancheser, CT parade on Monday (photos from both will be coming sometime next week).
Whatever you do, think of those that have sacraficed for the rest of us, and of course, think of those currently serving overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan. By no means is freedom “free” – there are costs involved. Here’s one shot from the Lebanon parade of a float done by Red Sneakers (a preschool in town). At least they get it.
Don’t forget to thank a vet.
