It’s Martini Time!

Last Friday, in addition to leaving early for a Dr-Averbuch dentist appointment (and shooting P&W NR-2), Jill & I had a chance to actually go out for the evening!  We had made last minute plans with Jill’s sister, and a friend of hers from work to go check out a band at the Hartford Road Cafe in Manchester.  With the plans set, and a sitter for the kids, we headed to Manchester for an evening of music, beer & fun.  Well, and of course some pictures…why would I only write about the night?

I ended up shooting about 8 gigs of photos that night – all high ISO, wide open shots, and of course they were influenced by about a half dozen beers…  Anyways, the band, It’s Martini Time, played mostly rockabilly, along with some classic rock (yes, they were a cover band – not exactly my forte, but they were entertaining, in addition to being pretty tight).  And during the last set, I broke the camera out – here’s the cream of the crop…not too bad overall, especially considering how dark the room was, and I didn’t use flash.

It was a fun evening, for sure!  Nice change of pace…

Thanks for looking!
