Had to go on yet another business trip last week, so I took the G9 along. Short version – here’s a few shots from the trip from Groton, CT to Morristown, NJ and back. Both days were kinda hazy, so the shots aren’t exactly the greatest, but hey, at least I took something.
After looking through all of the shots I took on the flights, here’s what I came out with. First up was a trio of shots of the Gold Star Bridge & Amtrak’s Thames River drawbridge. This time we flew to the north of the bridges, so the view of the Amtrak bridge isn’t great, but hey…

A little bit later, we came into view of New Haven, and what was just to the south of us? Cedar Hill Yard.

A bit further west, we passed by Metro North’s Harmon shops

And that was it for the trip down.
The trip up I only ended up with 3 pictures all together – the air was quite a bit hazier, so the shots weren’t great.
First one was of the Providence & Worcester’s Norwich Branch, showing the Dow Chemical Allyn’s Point plant in the foreground.

And a pair of shots of Amtrak’s Midway facility in Groton, CT

I’ve got to fly to NJ again next week – maybe the weather will be better…stay tuned.
Thanks for looking!

Cool air shots Tom.

Great shots as always. Loved the two of Cedar Hill. In the first shot the large building in the lower left is the former Stop & Shop Distribution Center, The P&W Airline is just to the right of the parking after it comes under I91 Near Circuit City.
