Cowboy Mounted Shooting – CT Renegades on the 4th of July, Part IV

CT Renegades Cowboy Mounted ShootingHere’s the fourth part of the CT Renegades’ 4th of July match in Granby, CT.

For the fourth stage, I moved back down to the other end of the ring.  But for this match, things were a bit different.  In addition to the usual course of balloons to shoot at, the riders had to also navigate a few different obstacles.  First up was a waterfall (foam pool noodles suspended about eye height for the horse), then some poles on the ground that they had to step through, then finally they had to “rescue” a given Barbie doll (there were three dolls, and each rider was assigned one doll to rescue, so you had to grab the correct one).  Quite an interesting stage!
