After work tonight, I stuck around the Groton area to photograph the conjunction of three solar system bodies – the Moon, Jupiter and Venus – in the evening sky. Luckily the clouds cooperated again and I was able to get some decent shots of the trio in the sky.

Well, I couldn’t wait to try out the new 40D. So I broke out the telescope (Celestron Super C8+, 8″ 2,000mm f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope) and took a shot of the moon.
