Just a little heads-up if you’re interested. I’ll be putting on a slideshow this Sunday evening, August 17th, at the Connecticut Eastern Railroad Museum‘s membership meeting. It’s at 7pm in the conference rooms at Windham Hospital in Willimantic, CT. Anyone is welcome to come along, even if you’re not a member of the museum, and it’s free. I’ll be putting a two part show – a long and short piece. The short piece will be a look at this year’s CERM Night Photo Shoot, which featured the newly dedicated, and operational, turntable (yes, most of the shots are in the post above, but there are a few from what happened on the way out of the museum…). The longer portion of the program, will be a retrospective view of Amtrak’s Thames River drawbridge replacement project. I’ve photographed the progress for the past two plus years, and will take about 26 months of photos, and compress them into about 30 minutes of show. The first shot was from June 22, 2006, and the final shot will be from this week.
