This past Saturday June 13th was the 6th Annual Night Photo Shoot at the Connecticut Eastern Railroad Museum in Willimantic. We had to top last year’s shoot, which included the use of the turntable in a number of shots. This year the volunteers came through again, and kicked things up […]

Just a quick note that I’m participating in the 2009 Windham Photo Club’s Gallery Exhibit, which is free and open to the public. I’ve got 10 photos hanging amongst about 200 from various club members. I’ll be sitting on Saturday July 11th from 12-2PM, but if you want to arrange […]
Last Friday I had taken the day off, and had to head down to the shoreline to take care of something in the morning. As things worked out I ran into Providence & Worcester train NR-2 on the way down, but somewhat unfortunatley, it was in the pouring rain. Well, […]

Last night I did a slideshow for the Northeast Prototype Modelers Meet out in Collinsville, CT. The show was on railroads at night, and went over rather well. Since I was out and about anyways, I decided to meet up with fellow photographers Nick Palazini and Dave Jodoin somewhere up […]
Yesterday we had a very nice morning – blue skies with a few whispy clouds as a precursor to the overcast we have today. I was able to get out for my walk and take advantage of the nice weather, and I caught a couple trains to boot.
On Memorial Day proper we went to the Manchester, CT parade, and like usual, I wandered around as the parade progressed up Main Street. As the parade moved along, the weather got nicer, and I took quite a few pictures. Nationwide Security Services people were great. The only disappointing part […]
